EretzYeshuv – a new solo work by Noa Dar , premiered at the 'Tamune Festival', on 29-30.12.23, as part of 'Credit' – dedicated to the founders of the 'Choreographers Association' 30 years ago.

The work consists of short chapters which are "lessons". Lessons to encourage resilience. The concept of resilience has occupied a central place in the local discourse since 7.10 and raises questions concerning its meaning, its role and the price it charges on the national, social and personal levels. Parallel lines are created between the contracted body and shortness of breath and the texts of the lessons, which are simultaneously multi-meaningful and meaningless. They encourage calmness, relaxation and disconnection from the surrounding terror and thus grasp an unfathomable gap between the aspiration for normality and a disturbed reality that is powerfully present. Every simple statement is loaded and contains triggers. Every instruction becomes a command. Every 'Shabbat shalom' – a wound, every 'see you tomorrow' – an existential question. In front of the text, the body – the pulse, the breathing, the effort to balance, the feeling of the jaw dropping and the friction of the cheek on the shoulder – return to being, to what is and exists. Perhaps leading to an initial "homeopathic" movement, which will find its way out of the state of spasm.
