The Hebrew name –  EretzYeshuvChaYeleDomem, is a blend of the words land, community, living being, child, and inanimate object. It is taken from childhood games, and its words capture a concept that was once perceived as certain, and now it is a tangle of doubts and pain.
The performance’s materials are lessons in 'physical and mental resilience' that promise "healing”, autobiographical inventory lists, and the material on which the show takes place, which dictates and organizes the entire event.
These components are melded together to ponder on the current essence of that concept, to explore what still connects to it, and whether the initial operating instructions inscribed in the body- can be updated.

Against the abundance of words, in a dark and shaky space, stands the body and its clearly not sturdy movements, groping their way forward.

From the reviews:
"The Land of Silence" is a work that is entirely a single image that unfolds and re-rolls. A repeated
attempt to grasp the ground that has slipped from under our feet. With courage and physical determination, Dar's uninhibited performance ties everything together. In an extraordinary moment, the legs climb up, the hands are also sent up like branches, reaching for the sun. A human tree grows from the eyes of the ruins. Here, after all, is hope." Ran Brown, 'Haaretz'

"In a world of constant uncertainty, the show "The Land of Silence" comes to us as a deep breath of introspection. A show that touches on universal themes, and offers a powerful artistic experience. This show is a gift for us, an opportunity to look within and reconnect with ourselves." Nira Perry, 'Saloona'
