Ran Slavin
A contemporary artist working with digital video and sound. As a graduate of the Bezalel Art Department, he grew up in the late 1980s in the New Wave music scene in Jerusalem. His work in with video developed in parallel with his work in sound, first in 3H bands, and later in "Rir" and Lipstick Sink.
Today Slavin creates digital works while combining video, sound and computer work into live installations, films and concerts. His works have been exhibited on Israeli and international platforms, including the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Media Biennale in Poznan, Poland, the Istanbul Biennale, the Liverpool Biennale, the Pompidou Center and the Jose du Pom Museum in Paris.
