Special Projects
"The dream is a great artist" in Arabic
Following the Arab communities "Omanut La’am”, coordinator's initiative, the group created a version of Noa Dar's production "The Dream is a Great Artist" in Arabic.
Based on the Hebrew Leah Goldberg's poetry for children, with original music by composer Israel Bright. This initiative intended to provide an opportunity for Arab children to expose to a unique dance performance and to Leah Goldberg's wonderful poems.
We regard this project as a channel for developing acquaintance between cultures, and cooperation between Jews and Arabs.
Creating Together: Dance for Children with Disabilities
In 2006, the dance group developed and activated a unique program for children with special needs, in partnership with the Holon Regional Child Development Center.
Cooperation with the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra
In March 2006 the dance group produced the piece " Water’s Music" based on Hendel’s music. The Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra’s Artistic Director, Yaron Gottfried, commissioned the production. Five of the group’s dancers, accompanied live by the orchestra’s 35 musicians, performed the production.
Founding the Noa Dar Dance Group Studio
The studio, which opened in June 2006, facilitates the professional dance community and the public, as a center, which allows those who are interested to learn experience and develop through dance and movement.
